Sizing and Moving Shapes in Visio

An easy way to resize or position a shape exactly is to select the shape and click on the status bar in the lower left hand corner of your Visio screen.

This opens the Size and Position dialog box where you can enter exact measurements.

The Size and Position Dialogue gives you precise control over scaling and placement of shapes in Visio.

You can also open this dialog box by choosing Shape > Size and Position.
