Property Reporting Wizard

The Property Report Wizard steps through a process to define the properties you want to report on. lt will automatically generate a detailed bill of materials in the form of a shape and place it in your drawing.

The illustrations are representative of the Wizard sequence, but are not the complete series of dialogues that present during the Property Reporting sequence.

Report data is extracted in a spreadsheet format. It can be output to a MS Excel Spreadsheet, ASCII text file or inserted in the drawing as a shape.

You can opt to save the report as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or as an ASCII text file.

If you intend to place the report data on your drawing, Visio will only include the first 50 report lines in a shape. It prompts you to save the full report to a spreadsheet before continuing. Data in the Property Report shape is editable and is not dynamically linked to the drawing. If you change the drawing, you will need to run the Wizard again to reflect the changed conditions.
