David Edson

David A. Edson, MArch. was Visio Senior Technical Evangelist at  Visio Corporation.

Dave is an architect, with degrees in architecture and architectural history. He has been involved in the CAD industry since 1985 as both a 3^rd party developer to Autodesk and independent consultant. Dave first began utilizing Visio with its introduction in 1992, utilizing it as a tool for software development. Dave travels the world speaking at Microsoft and Microsoft-oriented conferences such as Tech-Ed, VBITS, MOVS, Comdex and more.

Dave also writes numerous technical articles on Visio as a development platform and Automation/Programability in general.

Dave spends his free time promoting all things Scottish and Celtic and can often be found in the company of a wee dram of only the finest single malt whiskies.
